@emp hkothari I completely agree with you. The basic rule of thumb is what you mentioned at last paragraph: if desktop app (specially Swing/GUI/Applet based), use Netbeans. If J2EE web app, use EClipse.

After importing I get those messages:

Resolving new plugins. Please wait... ...
then it stops at that, times-out , do you have any idea (by the way I couldn't understand what you meant by: "adding my grails installation in the workspace settings"

What about xss? There are plenty article about how to by pass basic filtration.

beg to disagree.
Though i am naught but an amateur, I strongly believe that netbeans is the best out there. No, I have not tried eclipse, but from what I hear and see, netbeans is much more user friendly.

Know it sounds silly, but since i started exploring android with eclipse, the "Hello Android" message always appeared auto-magically so i didn't realize that when going through the same [almost!] demo you had to actually launch your downloaded app from the menu screen. thank you so, so much!
